New virtual event Oct. 31-Nov. 2 delivers up to 32 contact hours, relevant education and peer information-sharing
The Society for Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) is pleased to introduce SGNA 47th Annual Course: A Virtual Experience, a live, virtual event taking place Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2020, with additional education available on-demand after the event.
“Because the [global health] situation has not improved enough to safely bring our community together in-person over the new dates this fall, SGNA’s Board of Directors has decided the best way to serve your needs at this time is through a virtual event,” said SGNA 2020-2021 President Michelle Juan, MSN RN CGRN, Indiana University Health.
More than just another virtual conference call, this event features the best of the Annual Course education program, multiple chances to connect with SGNA partners in a Virtual Exhibit Hall, and the opportunity to earn up to 32 contact hours. SGNA 47th Annual Course: A Virtual Experience offers a relevant learning and networking experience – all from the comfort and safety of attendees’ home or offices.
Program highlights include:
- Presentations covering relevant topics such as infection control and prevention, disease, endoscopic reprocessing and nursing professional development.
- The opportunity to interact with GI nursing professionals from across the country through engaging networking activities.
- Subject-matter expert presenters and popular past speakers, including Faith Roberts, MSN RN NEA-BC; Whitney Jones, MD; Terry Foster, MSN RN CCRN CPEN TCRN CEN FAEN; and Patricia Raymond, MD.
