SGNA Continues its Forward Momentum…

On behalf of the Board of Directors, SGNA is pleased to announce Kim Eskew, MBA CAE as the new Executive Director, effective July 1. Kim comes to SGNA with more than 12 years of association management experience, most recently serving as Executive Director for the Society of Pediatric Nurses and the International Society for Experimental Hematology. Her experience leading healthcare associations will help SGNA continue its trajectory of growth. She has a proven track record of successfully directing organizations with an eye on the future. Under her leadership, SGNA will embark on a new strategic plan beginning in 2018 that will propel the Society even further as leaders in the industry and advocates for our patients.

SGNA leaders would like to express appreciation for current Executive Director, Dale West, CAE for his service. Since 2010, his leadership has propelled SGNA forward. He has guided SGNA to achieve strategic initiatives that resulted in overall growth of the organization, as well as positioned SGNA as a leader in GI. He will continue to support Kim and the SGNA team as an executive with the association management company, and will collaborate with future SGNA leaders through his role at the SmithBucklin Leadership Institute.
